Jack Simonson
Jack Simonson was born and raised in California but moved to Rye, NY, for high school. He started training and climbing with Team Rock when he was 16 and competed in local, regional and divisional competitions with the team. In 2008 he joined the TRC staff to work the desk and facilitate parties and events and also took on the role of assistant coach for Team Rock. Jack is now also a head instructor for TRC’s Junior Programs.
Jack loves sport climbing and trad climbing and has climbed at the Gunks (NY), Rumney (NH), Smith Rock (OR), and the Red River Gorge (WV). He hopes to climb all over the US, especially Utah and Colorado.
