Julien Jarry
Julien grew up in Greenwich, CT, but didn’t start climbing until 4 years ago when he went out west to college (Huntington Beach, CA). He soon began setting at the local gym, ClimbX, and also worked at Rock Creation in Cose Mesa, CA.. Julien moved back east in 2008 where he is a communications major at UConn Stamford. He quickly found TRC and joined the team becoming a regular routesetter and a head instructor for the Junior Climbing Programs.
Julien has climbed around California and New York including at Joshua Tree and the Gunks. His specialties include bouldering and dynos and he has competed at climbing competitions around New York & Connecticut, recently placing in the top 10 overall at the MPHC Bouldering Competition in NYC.
