We are proud to introduce The Rock Club as the New York region’s newest, most dramatic and exciting event space. We combine the excitement of group participation in a cutting edge sport with night club energy in a space surrounded by artificial rock formations over 40 feet high. The result is an event guaranteed to create the impact and lasting memories that you and you clients are looking for.

Events at The Rock Club can range from the simple to the very elaborate. The Rock Club is perfect for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Sweet 16’s, bachelor and bachelorette parties, active corporate events, fundraisers, promotional events or any other event where your client is looking for active participation, excitement and energy. Worried that non-climbers won’t have a good time? Don’t be! The enthusiasm of those who do climb combines with the energy of the space to create an atmosphere that everybody loves.
Planning Your Event at TRC
Advance PlanningWe’re here to help you plan and manage your event. The first step is to drop by for a tour of the facility. We’ll want to talk about your ideas, what other services may be involved (entertainers, caterers, etc.) and the general flow of the event.
Since our facility is unique, we’ll explain the layout and options for how your event could work. Warning!! When most people see our space for the first time they need some time to absorb the possibilities. It often takes several visits for plans to fully gel into place. We’ll take as much time as you need to develop your event plan.
DJ’s, Food and Entertainment
We recommend a DJ, even if your event is quite simple. A good DJ need not be exorbitantly expensive and adds a great deal by keeping the excitement level high. Be sure you use an experienced event DJ, not a club DJ spinning the latest hits. Because we already have club sound and lighting systems your DJ has a lot less to set up and worry about. This can result in cost savings. We’re happy to provide DJ referrals.
Food and Refreshments
TRC can manage food ranging from finger food and snacks to full hot catered affairs. What usually works best is in the middle - buffet style. We can help with referrals.
Other Entertainment
Climbing and dancing are generally are the main attractions. Still, other entertainers can add to the event. We have a wonderful space on the main floor for photographers, graffiti artists and similar providers. We don’t recommend having more than 2 such attractions, as this ends up diluting their impact.
